- Lecture topic:Dr Kaida Xiao is an Associate Professor in Colour and Imaging Science and research group leader for Colour Technology at the School of Design, University of Leeds, UK. He received his PhD from the Colour and Imaging Institute, the University of Derby, UK, in 2007. Before joining the University of Leeds in 2016, he worked in the Samsung Advanced Institute of Technology in South Korea, University of Sheffield, and University of Liverpool in UK. His research interest includes Colour Appearance Modelling, Skin colour measurement, perception and reproduction, total appearance measurement for textile. He has published more than 100 papers in Colour and Imaging Science. He is the associate director of CIE Division 1, national representative of CIE Division 8, technical committee chair for TC 1-92 and TC 8-17. He is senior editor of Colour Research and Application and associate editor of Frontiers in Imaging.

- Lecture topic:Dr. Rajkishore Nayak is an Associate Professor with the School of Communication & Design (SCD) at RMIT Vietnam. His current research areas focus on sustainability in fashion and textiles; circular fashion; waste management; CSR; new and advanced materials. Prior to joining at RMIT Vietnam, Dr. Nayak has worked in contemporary fashion (design and management), human ecology, product development, sustainable dyeing technologies and functional materials in India and Australia. He is working in collaboration with some universities in Africa, Europe, and Asia. He has more than 150 journal publications, 13 books, 30 book chapters and 25 conference publications. He has received the RMIT excellence in Learning & Teaching 2019 Award, the RMIT Research Excellence Award 2015, and RMIT Excellence in Research and Teaching 2012 Award.

- Lecture topic:Mr Nishaan Dookhan has been serving the textile industry for the past 20 years. He has significant working experience in several areas of the textile value chain from marketing, R&D, design, quality, lean manufacturing, to finance and operations. He is currently Chief Operations Officer of Tropic Knits Group - CIEL Textile, Mauritius. He is keenly interested in the digital transformation of the textile industry, more specifically the enabling impacts that big data and Artificial Intelligence will have on the sustainable development of the industry.

- Dr. Bijoya Kumar Behera(Professor, Department of Textile and Fibre Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, India)

- Lecture topic:Dr B. K. Behera’s areas of specialization include fabric manufacturing, 3D weaving, braiding, apparel engineering, quality control, fabric hand, project management, textile structural composites and concretes and mechanics of textile structure. His current research interests include auxetic weaving, green composites, protective clothing, and automotive textiles.
Prof. Behera has authored more than 330 peer-reviewed papers and delivered more than 350 talks in various international conferences and symposia including 70 plenary and invited speeches in international conferences. He has authored, co-authored and contributed chapters to 15 books related to textile structural mechanics, soft computing in textiles and weaving technology. Prof. Behera has supervised 30 PhD and 70 Master’s theses. He has seven patents to his credit. He has also served as visiting professor at Shinshu University, Japan; Technical University of Liberec, Czech Republic; University of Sao Paulo, Brazil; and Usak University Turkey.

- Dr. Arunangshu Mukhopadhyay(Professor, Department of Textile Technology, National Institute of Technology, Jalandhar, Punjab, India.)

- Lecture topic:Dr. Mukhopadhyay is an accomplished academic and researcher. His academic and research experience span over 32 years with two years of industrial experience. His field of interest is quite diversified and interdisciplinary which encompasses many areas of technical textiles, aerosol filtration, fabric structure-property relationships, statistical methods and the design of experiments. He has contributed more than 200 research publications in reputed academic and applied journals, conference proceedings, etc. To date, he has guided more than 50 Post Graduate (Ph. D. and M. Tech) scholars. Recently, two patents have been granted based on the innovation of two apparatus for testing cleanable filter media. He also acted as Principal Investigator of an India – Austria bilateral project supported by Wissenschaftlich-Technische Zusammenarbeit (WTZ) and the Department of Science and Technology (DST), 2018 – 2021. He is an active reviewer for more than 40 International journals. He is presently an Associate Editor for the Journal of the Institute of Engineers – Series E (India) and an Editorial Member of the Journal of Natural Fibers.
