This session will also cover topics related to new technologies and standards for manufacturing technology and evaluation methods of industrial textiles with nonwoven fabrics.

“Dyeing and Finishing” will cover topics related to dyeing, functional processing and color evaluation science for fiber materials, textiles and products. “Apparel, Comfort and Smart textiles” will cover topics related to new research activities by an inter-disciplinary approach for apparel science, protective clothing, and simulation techniques for the appearance and behavior of fabrics and garments. This session will also cover topics related to a novel technologies for evaluating the functional properties of textile assembly, and novel technologies and standards for certification of textiles and apparel products.

Textiles for Sustainable Development” will discuss about the sustainability challenges related to textiles from the viewpoint of the engineer, technologist and designer that inter alia may include: Bio-inspiration, 3D weaving and design research methods. This session will also cover topics as to how the global textile industry is addressing the sustainable development goals (SDGs).
